Mercury Records reissue four James albums – Gold Mother, Laid, Seven and Whiplash – with extra live and remix tracks plus B-Sides Ultra. All fail to chart.

James play their final UK shows with Tim Booth taking in Brighton, Leeds, Newcastle, Birmingham, Manchester, Glasgow and London. Former band members Larry Gott and Andy Diagram are slated to join the band for those shows. They are joined on stage by Brian Eno for Sometimes at the “final” show at Wembley Arena.
