Thousand Yard Stare hail from Slough in Berkshire. They released a number of EP’s on their own Stifled Aardvark label before signing to Polydor and releasing two albums Hands On and Mappamundi before splitting in 1993. They reformed in 2015 and released a Live At The Electric Circus album in 2016 featuring reworked versions of their early songs as well as new material as well as going on tour.
Tim personally invited them to support James on the autumn 1991 tour after catching one of their festival shows earlier in the year.
