Hello is track seven on the 1999 James album Millionaires.
It is an introspective piano-led track with Tim whispering a mostly improvised lyric over the top. Tim claims not to fully understand what he is singing about.
It was performed twice on the Millionaires tour, opening the set in Dublin and the encore in Cardiff before becoming a regular in the set on the 2011 tour with the Orchestra Of The Swan and staying in the set for part of the 2012 North American tour.

You and me
Play this song, the vision
Hope to make this love stretch forever
Don't let go in this now or never
Hope there's change enough to say...
Hello
It's over
Hello
It's over
Hello
It's over
Hello
You must say what you're thinking
I'm no mind reader of the stars
We won't get any older
It's so fleeting
I am lost when I'm torn from your heart
Hello
It's over
Hello
It's over
Hello
Hello
Somebody dreams a brave new world
I'm forbidden to breathe its pearl
Late summer evening
Late summer scene
Come together to make this dream
Hello
It's over
Hello
It's over
Hello
Hello
It's over
All but the sea
All but the sea
Play this song, the vision
Hope to make this love stretch forever
Don't let go in this now or never
Hope there's change enough to say...
Hello
It's over
Hello
It's over
Hello
It's over
Hello
You must say what you're thinking
I'm no mind reader of the stars
We won't get any older
It's so fleeting
I am lost when I'm torn from your heart
Hello
It's over
Hello
It's over
Hello
Hello
Somebody dreams a brave new world
I'm forbidden to breathe its pearl
Late summer evening
Late summer scene
Come together to make this dream
Hello
It's over
Hello
It's over
Hello
Hello
It's over
All but the sea
All but the sea

Song Structure:
The song opens with a faint drum beat and Kulas' Piano "Riff." Obviously it's not played on guitar but as being the key part of the song I felt it's worth putting down. Variations on this continue throughout the song.
Towards the end of the song another riff can be heard, which I've labelled the End Riff. As with much of Millionaires, it's unsure whether this is a keyboard or guitar.
The song follows a simple D Asus4 D G progression, except when Tim sings "Somebody dreams of a brave new world," when it changes to D D G Asus4. It then returns to D Asus4 D G on "Hello."
